About
Hello! I’m Sam, a working mom of three kids. I’m a homebody who adores pretty office supplies, and anything self improvement. My career, well-being and family are central to everything I do. I work from home a majority of the time. During my breaks, you’ll find me with my dogs, strolling along our country road, or finding a new corner of my home to organize or declutter. With kids aged six and under, keeping up can feel like a challenge at times. However, I’ve discovered some ways to simplify and stay grounded, allowing me to make the most of my time with my family. I’m here to help you do the same!
Over the past decade, I’ve been working full-time, and I’ve noticed how my mindset and well-being at work influence my family life, and vice versa. That’s why I’ve been on a mission to enhance my well-being to better navigate the challenges of being a full-time working mom. Working from home presents its own set of challenges, especially initially. I firmly believe that our surroundings, organizational systems, and self-care practices profoundly impact our anxiety levels, productivity, and ability to juggle personal and professional demands. I’m here to share tips on getting and staying organized, caring for your well-being, boosting productivity during your workday, all while managing a household and striking a balance between work and life.
Fun Facts about me:
– I was born and raised in Minnesota on somewhat of a hobby farm. Growing up, we had raccoons, chickens, ducks, sheep, cows, horses, dogs, cats, and rescued a squirrel and a pigeon.
– My husband and I have been together for 16 years (high school sweethearts), and married since 2015.
– We are raising our 3 kids in our hometown. It’s been such a blessing to be close to family and life long friends.
– I have a deep love for ketchup, crafting, cute pens and planners, and learning.
– It’s my dream to own a vacation home on Tybee Island or in Savannah, GA. We went there on our honeymoon in 2015, and I’ve been there 5 times since. I didn’t want to leave!
– My obsession with home decor and home design is borderline problematic.
– I live in sweat pants and athletic clothes (that are only sometimes cute). Life’s too short not to be comfy.
